BENGALURU – Tejasvi Surya, the BJP candidate from Bengaluru South, has expressed confidence in the BJP-led NDA’s victory in the recent elections, citing exit polls that indicate a “massive overwhelming majority” for the coalition.
“Most of the exit polls are indicating a massive overwhelming majority for the BJP-led NDA,” Surya said. He attributed this predicted success to the enduring popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has been in power for a decade.
“Despite being in power for 10 years, PM Narendra Modi’s popularity is unfaded and only increasing,” Surya added. He believes that the Prime Minister’s sustained appeal is a testament to the trust and faith he has earned from the Indian populace.
“For a political party to be in power for 10 consecutive years and for a Prime Minister to get elected with a much bigger mandate is a huge indication of the kind of faith and kind of trust he has earned from a billion Indians,” Surya stated.
The final results of the election are yet to be announced. However, if the exit polls are accurate, it would mark another significant victory for the BJP and further cement Modi’s position as a popular leader in India.
